The present invention provides a cooling apparatus having sufficient cooling ability in the cooling process of a continuous annealing facility and capable of minimizing the strip temperature difference in the width direction caused by the high speed blowing of the gas and preventing the strip from fluttering by making the most of the holding rolls, wherein the continuous annealing facility a plurality of nozzles for blowing gas protruding from a surface of a cooling chamber installed in the continuous annealing facility so as to keep the tips of the nozzles 50 to 100 mm distant from the surface of the steel strip and the cooling chamber is disposed so that the maximum width of the steel strip (Wmax:mm) and the distance (H:mm) from the surface of the cooling chamber to the steel strip satisfy the expression (1) below: 6 < Wmax/H < 13 ..(1)
L'invention concerne un dispositif de refroidissement rapide pour une bande d'acier . Ce dispositif assure une performance de refroidissement suffisante dans un processus de refroidissement pour une opération de recuit continue. Il permet de minimiser la différence de température d'une bande d'acier dans le sens latéral produite par un soufflage de gaz haute vitesse, et de maximiser l'effet d'un rouleau de compression en évitant l'instabilité de la bande d'acier. Dans ce système, plusieurs buses sont disposées de manière à maintenir une distance entre les pointes de ces buses et la surface de la bande d'acier pouvant atteindre jusqu'à 50 à 100 m, et ces buses sont orientées vers la surface d'une boîte de refroidissement placée dans un matériel de refroidissement continu . Du gaz est soufflé à partir de ces buses pour refroidir la bande d'acier, lors de son passage. Ce dispositif se caractérise en ce que le boîtier de refroidissement est placé de telle sorte que la largeur maximale Wmax (mm) de la bande d'acier et une distance H (mm) séparant la surface du boîtier de refroidissement et la bande d'acier peut respecter l'expression (1) 6<Wmax/H<13.
