The 'PERF-FECT TAPE MEASURE' has a hole drilled right through the metal at each increment of measure for the entire length of the tape. There is a hole, one-thirty- second of an inch in diameter 6(fig. 1), drilled at each line on the tape indicating a degree of measure. As each line is longer or shorter to indicate that portion of an inch, the hole will be drilled at the end of the line towards the center of the tape. The lines indicating 1/16" to 15/16" 1 (fig.1) has a hole drilled though the metal, the lines indicating 1/8" to 7/8" 2(fig.1) has a hole drilled though the metal, the lines indicating 1 /4" to 3/4" 3(fig. 1) has a hole drilled though the metal, the lines indicating 1 /2" 4(fig.1) has a hole drilled though the metal, the lines indicating each 1" 5(fig.1) has a hole drilled though the metal, for the entire length of the tape measure at each and every increment.
