The present invention relates to a methods, products and uses for inhibiting corrosion. A provided method comprises the steps of: a) subjecting cellulosic biomass to hydrolysis to obtain a hydrolysate liquid; b) optionally, subjecting the hydrolysate liquid from step a) to one or more of the steps of further hydrolysis, fermentation and/or distillation; and c) using the hydrolysate liquid from step a) or b) to inhibit corrosion.
La présente invention concerne des procédés, des produits et des utilisations de ceux-ci permettant d'inhiber la corrosion. Un procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes consistant à : a) soumettre une biomasse cellulosique à une hydrolyse pour obtenir un hydrolysat liquide; b) éventuellement, soumettre l'hydrolysat liquide de l'étape a) à une ou plusieurs étapes d'hydrolyse supplémentaire, de fermentation et/ou de distillation; et c) utiliser l'hydrolysat liquide de l'étape a) ou b) pour inhiber la corrosion.
