The invention relates to a stable tent or shelter, particularly an open-sided shelter, such as a hospitality tent, comprising a roof (1) and supporting legs (3). The roof has at least one frame (12) for supporting a covering (10), the frame being provided with at least one hub (14) and with stiff struts (12), the struts being hingably connected to the hub, in a plane perpendicular to the hub, and being hingable relative to the hub (14) beyond a dead-center position, the struts being connected at their free ends with the perimeter of the covering. The shelter is characterized by a tensioning cord (40), for applying force to the free ends of the struts in a direction perpendicular to the length of the strut and toward the centerline passing through the hub and for simultaneously connecting the free end of the roof strut, a leg (5) associated with the strut and a roof skirt (10) extending between adjacent struts, all of which cooperate to stabilize the shelter.
L'invention concerne une tente ou un abri stable, en particulier un abri à côtés ouverts tel qu'une tente d'accueil, comprenant un toit (1) et des montants (3). Le toit comporte au moins une armature (12) qui supporte une couverture (10), l'armature étant équipée au moins d'un axe (14) et de rayons rigides (12); les rayons sont reliés à l'axe, dans un plan perpendiculaire à celui-ci, et peuvent être articulés à partir de l'axe (14) au-delà d'une position de point mort, et l'extrémité libre des rayons est attachée au bord de la couverture. La structure est équipée d'une corde de tension (14), qui permet d'exercer une force sur les extrémités libres des rayons perpendiculairement à la longueur de ceux-ci et en direction de la ligne centrale passant par l'axe en vue de fixer simultanément l'extrémité libre du rayon, un montant (5) associé au rayon et une bordure du toit (10) située entre deux rayons adjacents, l'opération contribuant globalement à stabiliser l'abri.
