Process to separate solids from a solids laden gaseous flow (2) containing more than 100 mg/Nm3 solids by performing the following steps: (a) separating solids from the gaseous flow using a gas-solids separator (3) resulting in a gaseous flow (4) containing less than 50 mg/Nm3 solids and an underflow (5) comprising the separated solids and part of the gaseous flow as fed to the gas- solids separator (3); (b) separating part of the solids from the underflow (5) in a cyclone (6) wherein solids (10) and a gaseous flow (7) containing still some solids are obtained; and (c) contacting the gaseous flow (7) obtained in step (b) with water (15) to separate the solids and obtain a gaseous flow (9) containing between 0 and 50 mg/Nm3 solids; and (d) combining the gaseous flows which are poor in solids as obtained in step (c) and as obtained in step (a).

La présente invention a trait à un procédé de séparation de solides à partir d'un flux gazeux chargé de solides (2) contenant plus de 100 mg/Nm?3 ¿de solides en effectuant les étapes suivantes : (a) la séparation de solides à partir du flux gazeux au moyen d'un séparateur gaz/solides (3) menant à un flux gazeux (4) contenant moins de 50 mg/Nm?3¿ de solides et un sous-écoulement comportant les solides séparés et une partie du flux gazeux tel qu'il est alimenté au séparateur gaz/solides (3) ; (b) la séparation d'une partie de solides à partir du sous-écoulement (5) dans un cyclone (6) dans lequel des solides (10) et un flux gazeux (7) contenant encore quelques solides sont obtenus ; et (c) la mise en contact du flux gazeux (7) obtenu à l'étape (b) avec de l'eau (15) pour la séparation des solides et l'obtention d'un flux gazeux (9) contenant entre 0 et 50 mg/Nm?3¿ de solides ; et (d) la combinaison des flux gazeux qui sont appauvris en solides tel qu'il est obtenu à l'étape (c) et tel qu'il est obtenu à l'étape (a).
