SUMMARY PROCESS FOR PREPARING NEW 1-DIPHENYLMETHYLPIPERIDINE DERIVATIVES. The process to prepare new 1-diphenylmethylpiperidine derivatives, of formula (I) Image (I) comprises reacting an N-non substituted piperidine of formula II with a diphenylmethane halogenide XCH(Ph)2 in the presence of a base and eventually a catalyst, optionally converting the free base obtained into an addition salt, with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid, through conventional treatment with the suitable acid.
