The present invention relates to a catalytic process for producing oximes by the reaction of aldehydes or ketones in the liquid phase with hydrogen peroxide and ammonia in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst, synthesized on the basis of titanium, silicon and oxygen, or if required, a Lewis-acid and/or Br~nsted-acid cocatalyst and an ammonium salt or substituted ammonium salt.
