Process for the purification of hemin by dissolving raw hemin into 1,3- dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone (DM1), the mixture is allowed to cool in order to crystallize the hemin in the form of a 1:3-adduct of hemin and DMI, whereafter the adduct obtained is split by mixing the same with warm water, a lower alcohol or a mixture thereof, or by heating in a vacuum, and the liberated hemin is recovered. The invention also concerns a novel heroin derivative, that is the 1:3-adduct of hemin and DM1, and a process for its preparation.
Un procédé servant à purifier l'hémine en diluant de l'hémine brute dans du 1,3-diméthyl-2-imidazolidinone (DMI), on laisse le mélange refroidir afin de cristalliser l'hémine sous forme d'un produit d'addition 1:3 d'hémine et DMI, après quoi le produit obtenue est divisé en mélangeant celui-ci avec de l'eau chaude, un alcool inférieur ou un mélange de ceux-ci, ou bien en le chauffant sous vide, et l'hémine libérée est récupérée. L'invention concerne également un nouveau dérivé d'hémine, c'est-à-dire le produit d'addition 1:3 d'hémine et DMI, et un nouveau procédé de préparation de celui-ci.
