Systems and methods for performing a handoff of an access terminal from a macro node to a femto node are disclosed. In one embodiment, the femto node is configured to transmit a predetermined signal for determining signal quality and an identifier that uniquely identifies the femto node to the access terminal. The access terminal is configured to transmit the identifier to the macro node. The femto node is identified as a hand in target based on the transmitted identifier and the macro node is configured to hand in the access terminal to the femto node.
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant d'exécuter un transfert de terminal d'accès d'un macro nud à un nud femto. Dans un mode de réalisation, le nud femto est configuré pour transmettre un signal prédéterminé destiné à déterminé une qualité de signal et un identifiant qui identifie uniquement le nud femto jusqu'au terminal d'accès. Le terminal d'accès est configuré pour transmettre l'identifiant jusqu'au macro nud. Le nud femto est identifié comme cible de commutation interne sur la base de l'identifiant transmis et le macro nud est configuré pour commuter le terminal d'accès au nud femto.
