An electrical insulation (1) for a conductor (2, 3, 8), arranged in a plurality of turns for generating a magnetic field, comprising an insulant (6) of a solid material. The insulation is tubular and comprises an inner semiconducting layer (5) and an outer semiconducting layer (7). The semiconducting layers are adapted to contain between themselves an electric field. The joint between one of the semiconducting layers and the insulant (6) exhibits an adhesion which allows a retained mechanical contact in case of a structure-changing stress.

L'invention concerne une isolation électrique (1) d'un conducteur (2, 3, 8) placé en plusieurs tours pour générer un champ magnétique. Cette isolation comprend un isolant (6) en matière solide. L'isolation est tubulaire et comprend une couche semi-conductrice intérieure (5) et une couche semi-conductrice extérieure (7). Les couches semi-conductrices sont conçues pour contenir entre elles un champ électrique. Le joint entre l'une des couches semi-conductrices et l'isolant (6) possède une adhésion qui permet de conserver un contact mécanique en cas de contrainte modifiant la structure.
