A method for downhole separation of natural gas from brine with injection of spent brine into a disposal formation. Firstly, select a free flowing gas well having a suitable disposal formation. Secondly, separate the gas well into a disposal zone, a production zone and a separation zone. The disposal zone has a pressure sensitive valve set to open within a preset threshold pressure range. The separation zone is in fluid communication with the pressure sensitive valve. Thirdly, position a gas/water separator in the separation zone. Fluids flowing up a production conduit pass through the gas/water separator thereby separating the gas from the brine. The spent brine accumulates in the separation zone with the pressure sensitive valve intermittently opening to inject spent brine into the disposal zone when the weight of the accumulated column of spent brine reaches the threshold pressure range.
Méthode de séparation, au fond d'un puits, du gaz naturel de la saumure et injection de la saumure épuisée dans une formation d'évacuation. Premièrement, choisir un puits de gaz libre comprenant une formation appropriée d'évacuation. Deuxièmement, séparer le puits de gaz en une zone d'évacuation, une zone de production et une zone de séparation. La zone d'évacuation est séparée par une vanne pressosensible réglée pour ouvrir à une pression seuil prédéterminée. Le fluide de la zone de séparation est en communication avec la vanne pressosensible. Troisièmement, placer un séparateur de gaz et d'eau dans la zone de séparation. Les fluides qui remontent la colonne de production passent dans le séparateur de gaz et d'eau, ce qui permet de séparer le gaz de la saumure. La saumure épuisée s'accumule dans la zone de séparation et, lorsque sous le poids de la colonne de saumure accumulée la pression atteint le seuil prédéterminé, la vanne pressosensible s'ouvre par intermittence pour permettre l'injection de cette saumure dans la zone d'évacuation.
