It is the objective and purpose of the present invention to provide a novel and specific monoclonal antibody. This invention relates to a monoclonal antibody inhibiting the homing of hematopoietic stem cells and recognizing the surface antigen of a splenic stromal cell having potency supportive of the homing of hematopoietic stem cells and a hybridoma producing the monoclonal antibody. Since the monoclonal antibody of this invention has a characteristic of inhibiting the homing of hematopoietic stem cells, it is useful as medicine enhancing the effect of an anticancer agent for the clinical treatment of leukemia.
