A method for testing the authenticity of a data carrier having at least an integrated circuit with memory units and logic units as well as a data line for data exchange with an external device. The invention is characterized in that the integrated circuit additionally has a separate hard-wired circuit for transmitting and/or receiving,data during the power-up sequence, which is used for authenticity testing, the first transmission or reception of data being completed within a defined time domain of the power-up sequence in which the data line has no defined state.
Un procédé permet de vérifier l'authenticité d'un support de données (1) qui comprend au moins un circuit intégré (3) avec des unités de mémorisation et des unités logiques, ainsi qu'une ligne d'échange de données avec un dispositif externe. L'invention se caractérise en ce que le circuit intégré comprend en outre un circuit câblé séparé (2) de transmission et/ou de réception de données pendant la séquence de mise sous tension. Ce circuit (2) est utilisé pour vérifier l'authenticité des données. La première transmission ou réception de données s'achève pendant une plage temporelle déterminée de la séquence de mise sous tension pendant laquelle la ligne de transmission de données n'est pas encore dans un état défini.
