Multiphase detergent tablets for machine dishwashing comprise builders, bleaches and, optionally, other detergent ingredients and comprise a bleach-boosting active substance combination of a water-soluble salt of a divalent transition metal selected from cobalt, iron, copper and ruthenium and mixtures thereof, a water-soluble ammonium salt, an inert carrier material, and, if desired, a peroxygen-based oxidizing agent, the amount of the bleach-boosting active substance combination in the individual phases, based on the weight of the phase, being different.
