A drive has a driving unit (14), wherein the driving unit (14) comprises a central body (1), a driving means (6), and a driven means (5) revolving around the central body (1). Conveyor means or objects to be conveyed can be conveyed in a driven region (19) of the driving unit (14) along a conveyor path (17) by way of the driven means (5). The driven means (5) is supported by means of a roller body (2) revolving around the central body (1) in an orbit (7) with respect to the central body (1). To this end, the driven means (5) rolls on the central body (1) via rollers (3) of the roller body (2) and thereby the roller body (2) transmits radial pressure forces to the central body (1). The driven means (5) is driven directly by the driving means (6). The roller body (2) as such is not only driven directly by the driving means (6), it is also moved by the rolling motion of the driven means (5) on the roller body (2).
