- 17 - ABSTRACT Compositions comprising crosslinked low density polyethylene and hydrolysed ethylene vinyl acetate terpolymers for use in the primary crosslinkable insulation for electrical power distribution cables. Propagation of water trees in electrical insulation is inhibited. Stabilization of the composition is enhanced by the presence of an antioxidant phenolic ester and a hindered amine light stabilizer.
