ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention, a multi-layer high critical temperature superconductor wire includes a silver substrate. Layers of superconductor material and silver are alternately electrophoretically coated onto the silver substrate and sintered. The superconductor/silver multi- layer wire is then rolled and heat treated to establish the wire of the present invention.
