A method of reducing damage to plant propagation material and plant organs which grow at a later time by a representative of the class Nematode, which method comprises (I) treating the propagation material with (A) a chelating agent, and optionally (B) a macrocyclic lactone compound or another pesticide, before the material is sown or planted, or (II) applying (A) a chelating agent, and optionally (B) a macrocyclic lactone compound or another pesticide, to the locus of the material or the treated material defined in (I) before its planting, and/or at its planting and/or during its growth.
La présente invention a trait à un procédé de réduction de dommage à une matière de propagation végétale et aux organes végétaux qui croissent ultérieurement par un représentant de la classe de nématodes, ledit procédé comprenant (i) le traitement de la matière de propagation avec (A) un chélateur, et éventuellement (B) un composé à base de lactone macrocyclique ou un autre pesticide, préalablement à l'ensemencement ou la plantation de la matière, ou (ii) l'application (A) d'un chélateur, et éventuellement (B) d'un composé à base de lactone mycrocyclique ou d'un autre pesticide, au site de la matière ou de la matière traitée définie en (i) préalablement à sa plantation, et/ou au moment de sa plantation et/ou lors de sa croissance.
