ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A problem common to existing cultivators of the toothed wheel type is that of making repairs. If a tooth or tine-is damaged or broken, substantial disassembly of the cultivator may be necessary to effect repairs. This problem is overcome by the use of a plurality of toothed wheels arranged side-by-side on shafts to defined sections, which in turn are mounted on a boom for towing over the ground. Each wheel includes a pair of parallel, spaced apart, circular plates with partitions extending therebetween to define a central pentagonal shaft receiving passage and five compartments around the central passage for receiving rubber blocks. The rubber blocks carry generally V-shaped teeth which extend radially outwardly from the blocks. Each compartment and block is in the shape of a segment of a circle. Each block is held in a compartment by a bolt and nut for easy removal and re-insertion.
