A harness system to insure the safety of children or other patients or with I.V., enteral, and/or other long term hook-ups is easily and readily adjustable. This is complicated by routing of the medical lines with the adjustable straps, which is needed for growing patients, multiple patient use, and alternating medical equipment. The harness is high on the patient's chest, making it as out of the way as possible. The hardware used has rounded edges, and is with out protruding, parts to accommodate the patient and the medical lines. Hardware of the smallest size possible, and still being failsafe is used for the patient's comfort. The said medical lines are routed in such a way to prevent pulling, and kinking. This allows the patient maximum movement from the medical equipment. The loops of medical lines made by routing the lines along the tether strap, connecting the harness to the pumps, is held in place with a zipper sleeve.
Harnais facilement et rapidement réglable servant à assurer la sécurité d'enfants, de patients ou de personnes raccordées à un dispositif intraveineux, entéral et/ou à d'autres dispositifs du genre pour une période prolongée, ce qui est compliqué parce que les tubes à médicament sont maintenus en place par des courroies réglables, mais nécessaire pour pouvoir utiliser le harnais avec des patients en croissance, une multitude de patients, ainsi qu'avec des équipements médicaux divers. Le harnais se porte haut sur la poitrine du patient, ce qui le rend le moins encombrant possible. Le matériel utilisé comporte des bords arrondis et n'est muni d'aucune pièce en saillie, de manière à ne pas nuire au patient ni aux tubes de médicaments. Des pièces de la plus petite taille possible tout en étant sécuritaires sont utilisées pour assurer le confort du patient. Les tubes à médicament sont placés de manière qu'ils ne puissent être tirés ou tortillés, ce qui permet au patient de bouger librement sans être encombré par l'équipement médical. Les boucles formées avec les tubes à médicament qui sont placés de manière à parcourir la courroie d'attache reliant le harnais aux pompes, sont maintenues en place au moyen d'une pochette à glissière.
