An unlicensed wireless service (126) is adapted to generate the interface protocols of a licensed wireless service (106) to provide transparent transition of communication sessions between a licensed wireless service and an unlicensed wireless service. In one embodiment, a mobile station (102) includes level 1, level 2, and level 3 protocols for licensed wireless service and an unlicensed wireless service. An indoor base station (128) and indoor network controller provide protocol conversion for the unlicensed wireless service into a standard base station (108) controller interface of the licensed wireless service.
L'invention concerne un service hertzien non agréé permettant d'établir les protocoles d'interface d'un service hertzien agréé, pour la transition transparente des sessions entre les deux services. Selon une variante, une station mobile comprend des protocoles de niveaux 1, 2 et 3 pour les deux services. Une station de base interne et un contrôleur de réseau interne assurent la conversion de protocole pour le service non agréé dans une interface de contrôleur de station de base type du service agréé.
