The convertible child-resistant vial comprises a container having and aperture and a peripheral wall and being provided with a first connection element in the form of contiguous locking and freeing housings provided in a collar extending from the peripheral wall; and a cap hingedly mounted to the container integrally thereof and including a second connection element for cooperating with the first connection element to close the vial in a child safe-manner. The second connection element is in the form of a tooth which is easily removable to convert the child-resistant vial into a non-child--resistant vial. The vial can be molded in a one piece body. The integral mounting of the cap to the container allows easing the distribution and handling of the vial.

Flacon convertible à l'épreuve des enfants constitué d'un contenant formé d'une ouverture et d'une paroi périphérique, et doté d'un premier élément de raccord, en l'occurrence des logements de verrouillage et de déverrouillage contigus, situé dans un collet saillant de la paroi périphérique; d'un couvercle articulé intégré au contenant; d'un second élément de raccord qui s'emboîte dans le premier pour fermer le flacon de sorte qu'il soit à l'épreuve des enfants. Le second élément de raccord est en forme de dent qui se retire facilement pour convertir le flacon à l'épreuve des enfants en flacon qui n'est pas à l'épreuve des enfants. Le flacon peut être moulé en un bloc. L'intégration du couvercle au contenant facilite la distribution et la manipulation du flacon.
