Provided is an oil/fat composition comprising 10.1 to 94.9 wt.% of a triglyceride, 0.1 to 30 wt.% of a monoglyceride and 5 to 59.9 wt.% of a diglyceride which has, as a fatty acid constituent thereof, 15 to 90 wt.% of an .omega. 3- unsaturated fatty acid having less than 20 carbon atoms. The oil/fat composition of the present invention has excellent heat stability, has body-fat-accumulation resisting action, visceral-fat-accumulation resisting action, blood-sugar-level lowering action, insulin resistance improving action and leptin lowering action and is useful for, as well as pharmaceuticals, preventive or remedial food for diabetes or obesity, and feed.

L'invention concerne une composition huile/matière grasse comprenant en pourcentage pondéral 10,1 à 94,9 % d'un triglycéride, 0,1 à 30 % d'un monoglycéride et 5 à 59,9 % d'un diglycéride, lequel possède, en tant que constituant acide gras 15 à 90 % en poids d'un acide gras omega 3-insaturé possédant moins de 20 atomes de carbone. La composition huile/matière grasse selon l'invention possède une excellente stabilité à la chaleur, une action de résistance à l'accumulation des graisses corporelles ainsi qu'à celle des graisses viscérales, une action d'abaissement des taux sanguins de sucre, d'amélioration de l'insulino-résistance et d'abaissement de la leptine, et elle est utile aussi bien en tant que produit pharmaceutique, aliment préventif ou curatif du diabète ou de l'obésité, que produit alimentaire.
