A protective device, a visor for a bicycle or in-line skate safety helmet, comprising a component to be attached to the outside of the safety helmet. The visor will be attached to the safety helmet by a Velcro system consisting of six pieces, two of them long. One of those two pieces will be installed horizontally on the front part of the safety helmet, with its ends mounted on each side of the helmet, at equal distances and opposite the ear contours. A small piece of Velcro will also be added at each end of the long piece. The second of these two long pieces will be placed on the inside of the visor, in the top centre. A small piece of Velcro will also be added at each end of the long piece.
