Provided are hair care products, especially leave-on products, comprising hair care compositions providing enhanced shine to the air in combination with clean hair feel and refreshment to the hair and scalp without inducing excess drying-out of the scalp. The compositions comprise a combination of: (a) a hair shine agent consisting essentially of: (i) a high refractive index non- volatile polysiloxane fluid and (ii) a non-volatile spreading agent for the high refractive index polysiloxane fluid which is intermixed with the high refractive index polysiloxane fluid; (b) ethanol; and (c) water; wherein the ethanol level is from about 10 % to about 50 %, by weight, of the composition. In another aspect of the present invention, the composition hereof further comprises a scalp conditioning agent. The present invention also provides for methods of use of the air care products.

Produits pour soins capillaires, en particulier produits à laisser reposer, sous forme de compositions de soins capillaires provoquant une brillance améliorée de la chevelure, ainsi qu'une sensation de propreté des cheveux et de rafraîchissement des cheveux et du cuir chevelu, sans entraîner un dessèchement excessif du cuir chevelu. Lesdites compositions contiennent une combinaison (a) d'un agent de brillance constitué essentiellement (i) d'un fluide polysiloxane non volatil à indice de réfraction élevé et (ii) d'un agent d'étalement non volatil pour ledit fluide et mélangé avec ce dernier, (b) d'éthanol et (c) d'eau, le taux d'éthanol étant de l'ordre d'environ 10 % à environ 50 % en poids de la composition. Selon un autre aspect de la présente invention, ladite composition contient en outre un agent de conditionnement du cuir chevelu. Des procédés d'utilisation desdits produits pour soins capillaires sont également décrits.
