The present invention relates to copper-organic complexes and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same. They can be used especially in the treatment of diseases caused by hyperproliferative cells and, in addition, protect healthy tissue from ionizing radiation. They are prepared by reacting a copper(II) acylate with an organic compound selected from 4-[bis(2-chloroethyl)amino]-D,L-phenyl--alanine (sarcolysine), the hydrochloride thereof, N-(2-furanidil)-5-fluorouracil (tegafur) and aminocarbonylaziridine (leacadin) at acidic to neutral pH in a chlo-roform/methanol mixture.
L'invention concerne des complexes organiques du cuivre et des compositions pharmaceutiques les contenant. Ils sont notamment utilisables pour le traitement de maladies provoquées par des cellules hyperprolifératives et protègent en outre les tissus sains des rayonnements ionisants. Ils sont fabriqués par réaction d'un acylate de cuivre (II) dans un mélange chloroforme/méthanol ayant un pH acide à neutre avec un composé organique choisi parmi la 4-[bis(2-chloréthyl)-amino]-D,L-phénylalanine (sarcolysine), son hydrochlorure, le N-(2-furanidil)-5-fluoruracile (tégafur) et l'aminocarbonylaziridine (leacadin).
