A computer-based system and method for resolving disputes between a customer and an electronic payment provider concerning an electronic transaction between the customer and a merchant, including receiving data related to the transaction in a computer; transmitting the data from the computer to a dispute resolution server; comparing the transaction data to predetermined eligibility criteria for dispute resolution in the dispute resolution server, and if the dispute resolution criteria is met, declining future transactions from the merchant for the disputing consumer; and, comparing the transaction data to predetermined eligibility criteria for transaction credit, and if the credit criteria is met, and transmitting a credit instruction for the transaction.
Cette invention se rapporte à un système à base d'ordinateur et à un procédé destinés à résoudre des conflits entre un client et un fournisseur de paiement électronique en ce qui concerne une transaction entre le client et un commerçant, comprenant les étapes consistant à : recevoir des données associées à la transaction dans un ordinateur ; transmettre les données à partir de l'ordinateur vers un serveur de résolution de conflit ; comparer les données de transaction à des critères d'admissibilité prédéterminés pour la résolution de conflits dans le serveur de résolution de conflit et si les critères de résolution de conflit sont satisfaits, refuser de futures transactions entre le commerçant et le consommateur en conflit ; et, comparer les données de transaction à des critères d'admissibilité prédéterminés pour un crédit de transaction et si les critères de crédit sont satisfaits, transmettre une instruction de crédit pour la transaction.
