A method and apparatus for interworking between a circuit switched network and packet network to provide call waiting indication (tone) in a session by a Mobile Switching Center (MSC) server enhanced for IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Centralized Services (ICS), the method comprising receiving at the MSC an invite message and the MSC sending a setup message comprising an information element indicating a call waiting tone on when the invite message comprises a call waiting indication.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil d'interconnexion entre un réseau à commutation de circuits et un réseau à commutation de paquets pour produire une indication d'appel en attente (tonalité) dans une session à l'aide d'un serveur MSC (centre de commutation mobile) amélioré pour services centralisés (ICS) de sous-système multimédia IP (IMS), le procédé comprenant les étapes de réception au niveau du MSC d'un message d'invitation et de renvoi par le MSC d'un message de configuration comprenant un élément d'information indiquant une tonalité d'attente d'appel activée lorsque le message d'invitation comporte une indication d'attente d'appel.
