The invention discloses a non-infectious virus-like particle (VLP) comprising (i) a capsid defining an internal space and constituted at least by all or part of the L1 protein and optionally all or part of the E2 protein of a papillomavirus, and, (ii) a nucleic acid molecule contained in the said internal space; the nucleic acid molecule comprising a region coding for a protein of interest, in particular an antigen or a cytokin. Such VLP's can be administered in vivo and are particularly useful for vaccinal purposes in therapy or for prevention against all kinds of cancerous conditions or infections.

L'invention a pour objet une pseudo-particule virale (VLP) non-infectieuse qui comprend (i) une capside délimitant un espace interne et constituée au moins par tout ou partie de la protéine L1 et éventuellement tout ou partie de la protéine E2 d'un papillomavirus, et (ii) une molécule d'acide nucléique contenue dans ledit espace interne; la molécule d'acide nucléique comportant une région codant pour une protéine d'intérêt, notamment un antigène ou une cytokine. De telles VLPs peuvent être administrées in vivo et sont notamment utiles à des fins vaccinales en thérapie ou en prévention à l'encontre de toutes espèces d'infections ou d'états cancéreux.
