The present invention relates to a process for reducing the amount of organic components in water, wherein a surface--reacted naturalcalcium carbonate and a hydrophobic adsorbent, selected from the group consisting of talc, hydrophobised calcium carbonate, hydrophobised bentonite, hydrophobised kaolinite, hydrophobised glass, or any mixture thereof, are brought into contact with the water to be purified, the surface-reacted natural calcium carbonate being the reaction product of a naturalcalcium carbonate with an acid and carbon dioxide, which is formed in situ by the acid treatment and/or supplied externally, and the surface-reacted natural calcium carbonate being prepared as an aqueous suspension having a pH of greater than 6.0, measured at 20°C.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de réduire la quantité de composants organiques dans l'eau, dans lequel un carbonate de calcium naturel réagissant en surface et un adsorbant hydrophobe, choisi dans le groupe comprenant le talc, le carbonate de calcium rendu hydrophobe, la bentonite rendue hydrophobe, la kaolinite rendue hydrophobe, le verre rendu hydrophobe, ou un mélange quelconque de ceux-ci, sont mis en contact avec l'eau à purifier, le carbonate de calcium naturel réagissant en surface étant le produit de la réaction d'un carbonate de calcium naturel avec un acide et le dioxyde de carbone, qui est formé in situ par le traitement acide et/ou fourni de l'extérieur, et le carbonate de calcium naturel réagissant en surface étant préparé sous la forme d'une suspension aqueuse ayant un pH supérieur à 6,0, mesuré à 20 °C.
