ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A retractable convertible top for a vehicle which incorporates one-piece header and side rails allowing the top to pivot at the rear rail for compact storage of the top rear of the passenger seats for maximum interior comfort. Rigid rear quarter windows are included to add strength and rigidity to the top. The windows pivot into the side panels of the vehicle body as the top is folded rearward. The single piece side rails of the top requires only a single pivot allowing all the bows supporting the top material to store behind the rear passenger seat. As an additional feature, the rear bow can be lifted to expose the luggage area behind the passenger seat.
