A coupling device connects a medical therapy device, such as a therapy cushion, to a supply device. The coupling device includes a coupling part connected to a double hose line and a counter-coupling complimentarily designed to attach to the coupling part and fitted on the supply device. The coupling device further includes a plurality of shut- off valves that, by step-wise movement between the coupling part and counter coupling, selectively open flow paths for supply of different amounts of fluid per unit of time. A supply device employing the coupling device is also described.

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour réguler la température de parties cutanées du corps humain, comprenant plusieurs coussins (1) pourvus d'un système de canaux à liquides (2). Chaque coussin (1) est relié à un appareil d'alimentation (114) au moyen d'une conduite d'amenée (5) et d'une conduite de retour (6). L'appareil d'alimentation (114) renferme un contenant de liquide et une pompe plongeante ainsi qu'un dispositif de chauffage et un dispositif de refroidissement. On active au choix l'un ou l'autre de ces deux dispositifs. La pompe alimente une chambre d'alimentation qui possède un certain nombre de raccords d'alimentation, chacun étant doté d'une soupape de fermeture qui est activée après raccordement de la conduite d'amenée (5) concernée. Les différents coussins sont alimentés individuellement en liquide thermorégulé par le même appareil d'alimentation (114). Il est donc possible de relier d'autres coussins ou d'enlever des coussins présents sans que cela ne se répercute sur l'alimentation des autres coussins activés.
