ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An operation table lining has a foil hose having a closed bottom region and an open head region, and an absorbent element applied on an outer surface of the foil hose. The foil hose is folded transverse to its longitudinal direction and the bottom region is placed on the head region. The head region has a reverse edge overlapping the bottom region- The reverse edge has a width corresponding to a width of the foil hose. The head region forms an opening. The reverse edge is folded so as to form at least two layers including an outer layer which has a free end facing in direction toward the opening in the head region. ac 212-687-5068
