In order to enlarge a stroke of a movable piece displaced by pivoting a lever in up- and downward directions, a lever switch for a vehicle according to the present invention has a lever mounted pivotably on a case and a movable piece moved by pivoting movement of the lever. An arm body is disposed between the case and the movable piece. In the arm body there are a shaft portion supported pivotably by the case at one end and a thrusting portion driving the movable piece at the other end, and a contacting portion brought into contact with the lever at an approximately central part. The arm body includes a first arm, at an extremity of which the shaft portion is disposed, a second arm, at an extremity of which the contacting portion is disposed, and a third arm, at an extremity of which the thrusting portion is disposed. In the arm body, the shaft portion is disposed in an approximately horizontal direction from a nearly central point 0, the contacting portion is disposed in an approximately vertical direction from the nearly central point 0, and the thrusting portion is formed in an inclined direction from the nearly central point 0.
Pour accroître la course d'une pièce mobile dont on commande le mouvement en faisant pivoter un levier vers le haut et vers le bas, un interrupteur à levier pour véhicule selon la présente invention a un levier monté sur une boîte de façon à pouvoir y pivoter et une pièce mobile entraînée par le pivotement du levier. Un corps de bras est placé entre la boîte et la pièce mobile. Dans le corps de bras, il y a une partie arbre supportée à un bout par la boîte de manière à pouvoir pivoter et une partie de poussée entraînant la pièce mobile à l'autre bout, et une partie de contact mise en contact avec le levier approximativement en son centre. Le corps de bras comprend un premier bras, à une extrémité duquel est posée la partie arbre, un deuxième bras, à une extrémité duquel est posée la partie de contact, et un troisième bras, à une extrémité duquel est posée la partie de poussée. Dans le corps de bras, la partie arbre est placée à peu près à l'horizontale à partir d'un point presque central 0, la partie de contact est placée à peu près à la verticale à partir du point presque central 0, et la partie de poussée se trouve inclinée à partir du point presque central 0.
