The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I), wherein R1, R2, R4, R5 and R6 represent a variety of substituents; R3 represents an optionally substituted 5- or 6- membered aromatic heterocyclic group containing 1, 2, 3 or 4 heteroatoms, selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulphur. R9a and R9b each independently represent hydrogen or C1-4alkyl, or R9a and R9b are joined so, together with the carbon atoms to which they are attached, there is formed a C5-7 ring; m is zero, 1, 2 or 3; and n is zero, 1, 2 or 3; with the proviso that the sum total of m and n is 2 or 3; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. The compounds are of particular use in the treatment or prevention of pain, inflammation, migraine, emesis and postherpetic neuralgia.

Cette invention porte sur des composés de la formule (I) ainsi que sur un sel de ces composés, acceptable sur le plan pharmaceutique. Dans cette formule R?1¿, R?2¿, R?4¿, R?5¿ et R?6¿ représentent divers substituants, R?3¿ représente un groupe hétérocyclique aromatique à 5 ou 6 éléments, éventuellement substitué, contenant 1, 2, 3 ou 4 hétéroatomes, sélectionnés parmi des atomes d'azote, d'oxygène et de soufre, R?9a¿ et R?9b¿ représentent, chacun de manière indépendante, un hydrogène ou un alkyle comportant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone ou bien R?9a¿ et R?9b¿ sont réunis et, avec les atomes de carbone auxquels ils sont liés, ils forment un noyau comportant de 5 à 7 atomes de carbone. Dans cette même formule, m vaut zéro, 1, 2 ou 3 et n vaut zéro, 1, 2 ou 3, à la condition que la valeur de la somme de m et de n soit égale à 2 ou à 3. Les composés selon l'invention sont particulièrement utiles pour la prévention ou le traitement de douleurs, d'inflammations, de migraines, de vomissements et d'algies post-zostériennes.
