The present invention provides a fluid line connector for connecting first and second fluid lines, having: a male portion (12) having a generally frusto- conical nozzle (22); a female portion (14) having a complementary generally frusto-conical recess (46) for receiving the nozzle (22); and coupling means (16) for coupling the male portion (12) and the female portion (14) when the nozzle (22) is received by the recess (46); whereby the fluid lines (72, 74) can be connected by attaching the male portion (12) to the first fluid line and the female portion (14) to the second fluid line, and locating the nozzle (22) within the recess (46) to form only circumferential sealing engagement between the nozzle (22) and the recess (46), and coupling the male and female portions (12, 14) by means of the coupling means (16).
La présente invention concerne un connecteur de conduite de fluide servant à connecter une première conduite de fluide et une deuxième conduite de fluide. Le connecteur comporte une partie mâle (12) présentant une buse (22) généralement tronconique; une partie femelle (14) présentant un évidement (46) complémentaire généralement tronconique pour recevoir la buse (22); et un moyen de raccord (16) pour coupler la partie mâle (12) et la partie femelle (14) lorsque la buse (22) est reçue dans l'évidement (46); on peut connecter des conduites de fluide (72, 74) en fixant la partie mâle (12) à la première conduite de fluide et la partie femelle (14) à la deuxième conduite de fluide, en plaçant la buse (22) dans l'évidement (46) pour former un contact d'étanchéité seulement périphérique entre la buse (22) et l'évidement (46), et en connectant les parties mâle et femelle (12, 14) à l'aide du moyen de raccord (16).
