The invention relates to a pedestal (1) for a variety of equipment, which require accurate aiming and robust mounting, especially form cameras (2) with a telephoto lens (3) and for telescopes, for fitting said equipment in a vehicular window opening (4) for facilitating the surveillance or photography performed from the vehicle. The pedestal (1) includes a base member (16) provided with one or more fastening holes (9) for an apparatus (2, 3) to be mounted on the pedestal, one end of said base member (16) being fitted with a fastening member (5) adapted to bear against the top edge of a glass panel (16) existing in the window opening (4) and the other end being fitted with a diagonal brace (20) adapted to bear at least at two points against a vehicular side surface (8) below the window opening. The invention relates also to the use of such a pedestal as a table stand, e.g. in macro-imaging, as well as to the use as an apparatus stand to be secured to various structures, such as banisters, backed chairs, and the like.
L'invention concerne un pied (1) destiné à divers appareils nécessitant une visée précise et une fixation solide, notamment aux appareils photos (2) dotés d'un téléobjectif (3) et aux télescopes, qui permet de fixer ledit appareil dans l'ouverture (4) de la fenêtre d'un véhicule afin de faciliter la surveillance ou la prise de photographies effectuée par ledit véhicule. Le pied (1) comprend un élément base (16) présentant un ou plusieurs trous de fixation (9) qui permettent de fixer un appareil (2, 3) sur ledit pied, une extrémité dudit élément base (16) comportant un élément de fixation (5) conçu pour appuyer sur le bord supérieur d'une plaque de verre (6) disposée dans l'ouverture (4) de la fenêtre, et l'autre extrémité étant fixée sur une entretoise diagonale (20) conçue pour appuyer en au moins deux points sur la surface latérale (8) du véhicule située sous l'ouverture de la fenêtre. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation d'un tel pied comme pied de table, par exemple en macrophotographie, ainsi que son utilisation comme pied d'appareil pouvant être fixé sur diverses structures, telles que rampes, fauteuils, etc.
