The invention relates to substituted 5-benzyl-2,4-diaminopyrimidines of general formula (A), wherein R1 is C2-C3 alkyl and R2 is heterocyclyl, phenyl or naphthyl, bonded by one of its C-atoms and R3 is C2-C6 alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, heterocyclylalkyl, alkylsulfonyl, cycloalkylsulfonyl, cycloalkylalkylsulfamoyl, heterocyclylsulfonyl, heterocyclyalkylsulfonyl or dialkylsulfamoyl; wherein alkyl, cycloalkyl and alkenyl can carry up to 6 carbon atoms alone or in compositions and can carry up to 6 ring members heterocyclically, alone, or in compositions and the groups R2 and R3 can be substituted; and to acid addition salts of compounds. The invention also relates to a method for producing the above 5-benzyl-2,4- diaminopyrimidines, to the intermediate products that are produced, to corresponding medicaments and to the use of 5-benzyl-2,4-diaminopyrimidines as medicinal preparations. The products have antibiotic properties and are useful for combating or preventing infectious diseases.

L'invention concerne des 5-benzyl-2,4-diaminopyrimidines substituées de la formule générale (A) où R?1¿ représente alkyle C2-C3 et R?2¿ représente hétérocyclyle, phényle ou naphtyle, lié par un de ses atomes de carbone ; R?3¿ représente alkyle C2-C6, alkényle, cycloalkyle, cycloalkylalkyle, hétérocyclyalkyle, alkylsulfonyle, cycloalkylsulfonyle, cycloalkylalkylsulfamoyle, hétérocyclylsulfonyle, hétérocyclyalkylsulfonyle ou dialkylsulfamoyle; sachant que alkyle, cycloalkyle et alkényle seuls ou en compositions peuvent porter jusqu'à 6 atomes de carbone, hétérocyclyle seul ou en compositions peut porter jusqu'à 6 termes cycliques et les groupes R?2¿ et R?3¿ peuvent être substitués, ainsi que des sels d'addition d'acide de ces composés. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production des 5-benzyl-2,4-diaminopyrimidines susmentionnées, les produits intermédiaires en résultant, les médicaments correspondants et l'utilisation des 5-benzyl-2,4-diaminopyrimidines comme médicament. Ces produits ont des propriétés antibiotiques et sont utiles pour combattre ou prévenir les maladies infectieuses.
