A description is provided of a roller mill (1) for grinding particulate material such as cement raw materials, cement clinker and similar materials, said roller mill (1) comprises a mill housing (2) surrounding a substantially horizontal grinding table (3), a number of rollers (4), each rotating about a roller shaft (5), configured for interactive operation with the grinding table (3) and means for introducing gases into the mill housing (2). The roller mill is characterized in that the means for introducing gases into the mill housing (2) comprises an annular duct (7) having openings (8) in a wall (9) facing the grinding table (3) and being located around the outer circumference of the grinding table (3). As a consequence hereof, a significant reduction of the pressure loss in a roller mill and thus a significant reduction of the energy consumption will be ensured.
La présente invention concerne un broyeur à cylindres (1) permettant le broyage de matière particulaire telle que des matières premières à base de ciment, des scories de ciment et des matières analogues. Ledit broyeur à cylindres (1) comporte un carter de broyeur (2) entourant sensiblement une table de broyage horizontale (3), une pluralité de cylindres (4) dont chacun est entraîné en rotation autour dun arbre porte-galets (5), configuré pour un fonctionnement interactif avec la table de broyage (3) et des moyens permettant lintroduction de gaz dans le carter de broyeur (2). Le broyeur à cylindres est caractérisé en ce que les moyens dintroduction de gaz dans le carter de broyeur (2) comporte un conduit annulaire (7) présentant des ouvertures (8) dans une paroi (9) en regard de la table de broyage (3) et situées autour de la circonférence extérieur de la table de broyage (3). Par conséquent, on obtient une importante réduction de la perte de pression dans un broyeur à cylindres et donc une importante réduction de la consommation dénergie.
