The present invention provides novel genes and proteins for diagnosing ovarian cancer and/or a likelihood for survival, or recurrence of disease, wherein the expresson of the genes and proteins is up-regulated or down-regulated or associated with the occurrence or recurrence of a specific scanner sub-type. The ovarian cancer-associated genes and proteins of the invention are specifically exemplified by the genes and proteins set forth in Tables 1 to 3 and the Sequence Listing.

La présente invention concerne de nouveaux gènes et de nouvelles protéines permettant de diagnostiquer un cancer de l'ovaire et/ou une probabilité de survie ou de récurrence de maladie. L'expression desdits gènes et desdites protéines est régulée vers le haut ou vers le bas ou est associée à l'occurrence ou à la récurrence d'un sous-type spécifique de cancer. Les gènes et protéines mentionnés dans les tableaux 1 à 3 et dans la liste de séquences constituent des exemples spécifiques des gènes et protéines associés au cancer de l'ovaire selon cette invention.
