The present invention relates to a computer mouse pad comprising a mono-layer structure material of predetermined thickness having an upper surface of a smooth texture. The upper surface is provided to facilitate an enhanced contact with a mouse roller engaging this upper surface, thus facilitating an unrestricted mouse control. The upper surface is also capable of absorbing unwanted residues deposited on the upper surface during the use, as a result, preventing residues from being picked up by the roller ball. The pad also comprises a bottom surface having an unfinished leather-like texture, being capable to securely grip a working desk-top surface supporting the pad without causing sliding of the pad around the desk-top surface during the use. The mono-layer structure material is genuine leather, where the upper surface of the leather material is finished and the bottom surface of the leather material is unfinished.
