An apparatus, article of manufacture and method of creating an image of uncompressed matter from compressed matter are disclosed, such as a method of creating an image of uncompressed human breast tissue from an x-ray image of breast tissue compressed in the mammography process. The method embodiment includes the steps of dividing the compressed matter into a plurality of volumetric cells; collecting intensity data from the compressed matter, for each volumetric cell of the plurality of volumetric cells, to form volumetric cell data; and utilizing a deformation state lens and the volumetric cell data, creating the image of uncompressed matter.
L'invention porte sur un appareil, un article manufacturé et une méthode de création d'une image non comprimée de matière comprimée. Ladite méthode permet d'obtenir l'image non comprimée de tissus du sein à partir d'une image aux rayons X de tissus du sein comprimés lors d'une mammographie. La mise en oeuvre de ladite méthode consiste: à diviser la matière comprimée en de multiples cellules volumiques; à recueillir des données d'intensité sur la matière comprimée pour chacune des susdites cellules de manière à constituer des données sur les cellules volumiques; et créer l'image non comprimée de la matière comprimée à l'aide d'une lentille à l'état déformé et des données relatives aux cellules volumiques.
