ABSTRACT Lithium Treatment The present invention provides a topical pharmaceutical composition for use in the treatment and/or prophylaxis of Molluscum Contagiosum, said composition comprising a physiologically acceptable lithium compound together with at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient. It also extends to pharmaceutical compositions comprising a physiologically acceptable lithium compound together with at least one keratolytic and/or skin penetration assisting agent and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or excipient.
