For removing water condensed on the outer surface of a tube (10) which is insulated by means of an insulating assembly (12), a plug (30) is arranged extending through the insulating assembly. The plug comprises a conduit component (32) in which a capillary suction material (36) is enclosed. The material (36) communicates with an evaporator foil (38) circumferentially encir- cling the outer cylindrical surface of the insulating assembly (12). The capillary suction material (36) may be substituted by a foil of a capillary suction material or a hygroscopic paint.
