ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A powder granule inspection apparatus that samples powder granules that flow through an online tube by a sampling nozzle, carries out automatically at least inspection of foreign particles contained in the sampled powder granules and removes such foreign particles, if any, having a supply hopper for always storing a predetermined amount of powder granules sampled by thesampling nozzle, a feeder device for cutting out a small amount of powder granules each from the supply hopper and continuously feeding the cut-out powder granules onto the surface of a rotary table in the form of a single layer, a photosensing device for picking up and detecting foreign particles contained in the sampled powder granules loaded on the rotary table surface and are transferred, a foreign particle remover for removing the foreign particle from the rotary table surface, a good product remover for removing the powder granules from which the foreign particle has be removed from the rotary table surface, a weighing hopper for temporarily storing a desired amount of the powder granules removed by the good product remove, wherein the predetermined amount of powder granules in the supply hopper can be maintained by draing out powder granules that exceed the same amount from the supply hopper through an overflow tube connected to the supply hopper, the predetermined amount of powder granules is selected to be slightly larger than the cut-out amount of powder granules by the feeder device, and the sampled amount of powder granules by the sampling nozzle is selected to be larger than the cut-out amount of powder granules by the feeder device.
