ABSTRACT The function of this buckle used in concert with hook and loop material (ie VELCRO) is to provide an economical quick connect, quick re-adjust and quick release feature when fastening two items to each other particularly when a cinching (leveraged pressure ) feature is required. This buckle avoids threading the end of the strap through an opening which is typical of many types of conventional box rings when the cinching feature is required for more strength. This buckle used with hook and loop material can also be used to replace the existing plastic, two part, bulky and expensive quick connect strap connector.
