The invention relates to the use of molecular weight-amplified hirudin in order to produce an anticoagulant, which does not induce any type of autoimmune disease and which does not cross-react with autoimmune antibodies, for extracorporeal renal replacement therapy. The inventive use does not induce, in particular, thrombocytopenia type II nor cross-reactivity with antibodies directed against platelet factor 4-heparin complexes.

L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'hirudine à masse moléculaire étendue pour la production d'un anticoagulant n'induisant aucune maladie auto-immune, ne réagissant pas de façon croisée avec les anticorps auto-immuns et destiné à la dialyse rénale extracorporelle. L'utilisation selon l'invention n'engendre pas de thrombocytopénie de type II. De plus, on n'observe aucune réactivité croisée avec les anticorps contre les complexes d'héparine de facteur plaquétaire 4.
