The invention relates to a method for forming complex geometries from laminates of composite material, which can be used to produce highly complex folded geometries, reducing the zone of influence of the formed areas and rendering the effect thereof local, by manipulating the geometry of the laminate close to the zone to be formed and replacing the formed geometries with folded geometries, thereby ensuring that the area of influence of the forming process is local, such that the length of the reinforcing fibres affected by the forming process is minimum. The invention also relates to complex geometries made from laminates of composite material using the above-mentioned forming method.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de mise en forme de géométries complexes dans des matériaux composites stratifiés, lequel procédé permet d'obtenir des géométries de plis d'une grande complexité tout en réduisant la zone d'influence des régions mises en forme, cette dernière n'exerçant plus qu'un effet local. Selon l'invention, on manipule la géométrie du stratifié à proximité de la région à mettre en forme, en remplaçant les géométries mises en forme par des géométries de plis, limitant de la sorte la zone d'influence de la mise en forme à une région locale de manière à minimiser la longueur des fibres de renfort subissant ladite mise en forme. L'invention concerne également les géométries complexes de matériaux composites stratifiés obtenues selon le procédé de mise en forme précité.
