ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A flexible pouch formed from a single sheet of plastic material folded over upon itself along an umbrella like fold assembly to provide the opposed walls of A chamber for storing a product and an optional second sheet to form the bottom of the chamber. The walls and the bottom are sealed along their periphery to form the chamber. The pouch has a self-opening spout formed in part by the fold assembly which expands and springs open when the sealed end of the spout is cut off. The fold assembly not only provides a large spout opening, but also provides a spring force which keeps the spout open so that all the product may be emptied from the chamber.
