On a map comprising a pattern of fold lines along which the map can be folded geographical regions shown on the map can be found easily by virtue of two sections which are connected by means of a common central area and each have a plurality of fold lines in equidistant sections in a direction parallel to two parallel delimitation lines. The map is folded in an alternating manner at successive lines in the opposite direction in each case such that a plurality of flaps are produced.

La carte est pliée de façon alternante, au niveau de lignes successives, chaque fois dans le sens opposé, de sorte qu'une pluralité de rabats soit produite.
